Social media meets southern charm as the historic Hazlehurst House will be the focus of a social media makeover consultation at the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce on Thursday, February 16th from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM. Click here to register.
The Hazlehurst House, located south of Atlanta in McDonough, Georgia, is a venue for weddings, parties and other social and corporate events.
Hazlehurst owner Felicia Watts will receive makeover advice from Michael Erickson – Director of Marketing, Fifth Restaurant Group ; Jim Brams – Public Relations, Cook’s Warehouse; and Julie Bryant Fisher – Senior Manager Communications, Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce.
This special edition of the SMB Social Media Makeover Forum is part of the Chamber’s monthly Tech Thursday series. The series focuses on providing real world updates, implementation strategies and KPI’s on topics like search engine optimization, cloud computing, and social media.
As many of you know, I launched the Forum last November in Atlanta to help small businesses take their social media to the next level. The Forum brings together social media experts who provide consultation on issues ranging from content generation, relationship building and channel integration to measuring performance and determining ROI.
The discussion will center on on how Felicia is currently using Facebook, Twitter and blogs and explore what is working and what needs improvement. Specific areas include keeping up with multiple channels, deciding which channels to use, keeping your properties current and relevant and executing a strategy.
The goal is for attendees to apply the advice that our panelists will share with Felicia to their own businesses.
