Dan Greenfield is a marketing social engagement strategist. His specialty is helping companies build stronger, more productive relationships with customers, prospects and key influencers. His expertise comes from over 20 years working with corporate and political leaders, senior management and teams charged with executing strategy and delivering results in the Internet, telecommunications, environmental and health care fields.
Messaging and Brand Development: Greenfield’s background has focused on building effective messaging and branding. He understands the complexity of managing and mobilizing multiple messengers delivering the message and the brand via overlapping and sometimes conflicting communications channels.
Relationship Management: Greenfield has extensive experience in bringing together customers, coalitions and companies with a shared mission and purpose to deliver a desired communications outcome.
Over the past three years, he has produced a series of conferences (PR+MKTG Camps and SMB Social Media Makeover Forums) around the country. He has worked with hundreds of PR and marketing professionals to help them better understand how to market, manage and measure the social engagement process.
Previously, he was a vice-president of corporate communications at EarthLink where he advised senior management on corporate positioning and oversaw outreach related to the Company’s financial performance, strategic partnerships, product launches, public policy, and brand.
Earlier in his career, he was a consultant at the Washington-DC based public policy firm Powell Tate. He also served as a press secretary on Capitol Hill for Congressman Mike Synar (Oklahoma) and press secretary for Bruce Morrision for Governor (Connecticut).
