Online realtor Clickscape will be featured at the Social Media Makeover ForumClickscape (blog,@clickscape)is the third and final small business to be featured at the upcoming SMB Social Media Makeover Forum on November 8th in midtown Atlanta.

They, along High Road Craft Ice Cream and Sorbet and Hannah Solar, will receive makeover advice from  social media experts representing some of Atlanta’s top brands including UPS, Turner, Arby’s, Cbeyond and Scoutmob.

Clickscape is an Atlanta-based online real estate broker. In addition to being a knowledge base for the Atlanta real estate information, Clickscape provides sellers with a platform to list and sell their homes for free. The idea behind Clickscape is the belief that given the proper tools and information, anyone can sell a home.

Clickscape is looking for social media makeover advice for Facebook pageWhy Clickscape?  Clickscape was chosen for several reasons.  First of all, we wanted to highlight a technology based company from the AtlantaDavid Lightburn - SMB Social Media Makeover Forum start up comunity. Clickscape is an Advanced Technology Development Center (ATDC) company (blog, @ATDC). Clickscape wants to use technology to change the way people buy and sell homes.

And that is challenge. According to its president David Lightburn, real estate agents or down there with lawyers and used car salesmen when it comes to trustworthiness. Clickscape is looking for makeover advice to help them better use social media to dispel that belief.  They also want to better understand how to balance authenticity and sales promotions when engaging customers..

Which leads me another reason for selecting Clickscape. We wanted to highlight a company that wants to better use social media in the tough economic times we now face. Most would agree that the real estate industry is one of the most hard hit.

We hope that the SMB Social Media Makeover serves your open house for answering your social media questions.
